I have been an ardent student of New Thought for the last 30 years. This movement has guided my spiritual development and personal unfolding. Science of Mind Treatment or spiritual alignment as we prefer to call them, is the basis of my life. This "truth knowing" and aligning with the Harmony of the Cosmos is one of my greatest joys to do with others. I consider it both a privilege and an honor to share in Spirit at this deepest of levels. All the practitioners/Spiritual Coaches we have at our Center are motivated by love and a deep desire to be of service. I am deeply grateful that our small Center can offer our Spiritual Community such dedicated practitioners of Science of Mind Treatment to assist them on the path of Truth and Freedom.

I have been involved with Religious Science for over 12 years, a Practitioner since 2001 and a Minister since 2004. I have worked in the medical environment for over 20 years and have studied psychology, self-help, spirituality, and the mind-body connection for over 30 years. During the birth of my first child in 1974, I experienced a profound shift in consciousness. When I first looked into his eyes, I saw a divine being gazing calmly back at me! It changed my life to see how we all come in to this world as God-Goddess.
In the 80s, I first studied the teachings of Ernest Holmes, eventually completing the four-year Religious Science training, and becoming a practitioner in Ukiah. In 2008, I was re-licensed as a spiritual coach (AKA Practitioner) here in Mendocino. I love knowing the truth for you—that you are whole and complete. Using spiritual alignment for myself and others gives me great pleasure.
In my private practice as a Holistic Health Coach, I also use a tool I find to be extremely complementary with the Science of Mind work, called Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), which I have been using since 2004. With EFT I help people release negative emotions and realign to Essence.

Brigitta grew up in Switzerland, an hour’s walk from the homes of renowned therapists CG Jung and Elisabeth Kuebler-Ross. She wonders, was that an omen?
After a traditional European education, which force-fed her brain and left her heart hungry, she ran off into the world.
In retrospect, Brigitta is clear that she lived, loved and worked on five continents in desperate starvation for ‘the meaning of life’. After years of trial and error, deep inquiry into most world religions and all forms of therapy, she found Science of Mind and ended up being the kind of practitioner or ‘spiritual coach’ she had been looking for. Brigitta has been studying, teaching and living this ‘New Thought Philosophy’ since 1990.
The amazing results of her ‘spiritual alignments’ for herself and others bring her deep satisfaction and exuberant joy.
In 1995, Brigitta became a Certified Clinical and Alchemichal Hypnotherapist. In her private practice and workshops she adds the power of ‘spiritual alignments’ with impressive success. She firmly knows that we all are great spiritual beings having a human experience (even if we forget at times).

I have been involved in ‘New Thought’ Philosophy since 1990 or maybe since my birth, since the ideas seemed to be so natural to me that I immediately felt at home. I have done spiritual alignments for myself and others during the last 18 years. I know the truth and live the truth. I have held nearly every job at our Center for Spiritual Living and have taken many courses and classes, some of them more than once.
My prior career was as an International Banker. I lived and worked all over the world for nearly three decades. I can tell you from experience that you live in paradise right here and now on the Mendocino Coast. I have been married to Brigitta D’Amato, my spiritual advisor, for 27 years. I am a father and a grandfather.
I love and admire our spiritual community. The love and power in this group uplift and inspire me. I love to give the gift of Spiritual Alignments. As I assist others in knowing the truth about conditions in their lives, I automatically align myself with the highest and the best for my own life. What a good deal!

Having concluded my professional life in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation and Counseling Psychology, I began enrolling steadily in Science of Mind Classes since 1997. I have also served our Center as a board member for several years. I have come to understand and enthusiastically endorse the principles of who we human beings truly are: Sacred Ones in Unity with the Divine. It is my privilege and pleasure to live life being of service as a Practitioner Intern to everyone coming to our Center for Spiritual Awakening, as we share Loving Kindness and compassion.

Spiritual Alignment is a specific form of affirmative prayer. It is not supplication or petition, but recognition and acceptance that God is all there is, that there is no spot where God is not, that we are all spiritual beings here and now, and that all the abundance of the universe is already ours if we accept and embody it. It is based on our knowledge that the universal creative process takes place in a provable, reproducible manner, and that we can consciously allow it to bring about changes in our lives. The five stages of spiritual alignment provide a structure and technique which empower this process: Recognition - God is all there is. There is nothing anywhere but God. There is no spot, no situation where God is not, because God is all-inclusive. Unification - I am one with God. I am inseparably one at the source with the infinite presence and power of God. Realization - I accept and embody my good. I clearly see that what I desire is available to me, and it is mine now. Thanksgiving - I am grateful. I give thanks for the truth of my being and affairs, and for my knowledge of it. Release - I let go. I release my word to the action of the Law of Mind, knowing it is now coming into manifestation.
Here is an example of a Spiritual Alignment: God is everywhere present. This Presence is all Loving and All knowing. Wherever I am, God is. I am an expression of God in Action. God acts through me, for me, as me with me. My situation is known by God, who knows what I have need of and I allow the highest and wisest part of me to guide me in manifesting my goodness. I give thanks that my situation is under the guidance of the most loving and wise part of me. I release myself, my worries and my concerns to the direction and protection of my highest self and allow myself to receive Its goodness. |
